Seminar Online Fundraising - Save the Children - Thanks!

This month noWomannoLife's island is full of events and we have to thank all participants who are taking part in our initiatives! On Tuesday 15th April we had a nice talk with Alice Mastroianni, who discussed with her audience the results of the project Save the Children in SL. The project needs your help: you can actually install a Yak's House in your land or making a donation, supporting the ong Save the Children. Moreover (thank you Rubin!), we discovered a new fundraising instrument in SL: the hudbook. You can actually wear this object on your avatar's head and surf in Internet without leaving SL. This is very helpful for non profits who wish to make people aware of their projects: the object can be actually transfered to other avatars and updated with events and news. Thanks again to all participants!

Questo mese l'isola di noWomannoLife è piena di eventi! Ci teniamo come sempre a ringraziare i partecipanti che si uniscono di volta in volta alle nostre iniziative! Martedì 15 aprile abbiamo avuto una piacevole conversazione con Alice Mastroianni, che ha discusso con il pubblico i risultati del progetto Save the Children in SL. Il progetto necessita del vostro aiuto: potete infatti installare una casa dello Yak sulla vostra land o fare una semplice donazione a favore di Save the Children. Inoltre, grazie a Rubin, abbiamo scoperto un nuovo strumento per il fundraising in SL: l'hudbook. Potete infatti indossare questo oggetto sulla testa del vostro avatar e navigare in Internet senza lasciare SL! Ciò risulta molto utile per le no profit che desiderano far conoscere i loro progetti: l'oggetto può infatti essere trasferito da avatar a avatar e aggiornato con news e eventi. Second seminar Online Fundraising - Save the Yak

Paolo Ferrara explained us different tools available for personal and public fundraising (blogs, social networks, widgets, SL, etc) and all relations with web 2.0.
