We wish to thank again all residents who joined the event in noWomannoLife's island. A special thanks goes to Imparafacile Runo, who promoted the event among his contacts and friends: more than 20 residents took part in the gallery tour, lead by Sav Rodenberger (De Primi's responsible), and had the opportunity to hear paintings' explanations and discuss their personal impressions about the works of art.If you were not able to take part in the event you can enjoy the following machinima and wait for the next tour!

Per la seconda volta desideriamo ringraziare tutti i residents che hanno preso parte all'evento sull'isola di noWomannoLife. Un ringraziamento speciale va a Imparafacile Runo, che ha promosso l'evento fra i suoi amici e i suoi contatti: più di 20 residenti hanno partecipato al tour della galleria, condotto da Sav Rodenberger (responsabile della galleria De Primi); i partecipanti hanno potuto ascoltare la spiegazione dei quadri e condividere le loro impressioni sulle opere d'arte.Se non avete potuto prendere parte all'evento, godetevi questo machinima e pazientate fino al prossimo tour!

Art for Life: thanks to all participants

On the 13th of December the opening of Art for Life took place in noWomannoLife's island. Several guests took part in the event: Sav Rodenberger (Saverio Repetto), member of De Primi art gallery who introduced paintings and related authors to the public, CarloMaria Creber (Marco Calmes) and Annaloga Boucher (Saskia Calmes), founders of noWomannoLife foundation, Seed Lane (Luca Botturi) and Seed Clip (Isabella Rega), founders of the ngo seed.

Residents who came to the event were attracted by the initiative, which reached a good success, and which displayed the constant growth of residents' interest in the non profit field.

The main goal of the art gallery is actually to collect money that will be entirely devolved to noWomannoLife and to Mediterranean women.

A big thanks goes to the organizators, but especially to all visitors who joined the event and who stayed for the island tour, which took place after the event. The future has in store new events of this type so..look out! Now enjoy Art for Life 's gallery and the snapshots of the event!

Giovedì 13 dicembre si è svolta l'inaugurazione della galleria d'arte Art for Life sull'isola di noWomannoLife. All'evento hanno partecipato diversi ospiti tra cui Sav Rodenberger (Saverio Repetto), rappresentate della galleria De Primi che ha illustrato ai presenti i quadri e i rispettivi autori, CarloMaria Creber (Marco Calmes) e Annaloga Boucher (Saskia Calmes), fondatori di noWomannoLife, Seed Lane (Luca Botturi) e Seed Clip (Isabella Rega), fondatori di seed.

Diversi residenti sono giunti sull'isola attirati dall'iniziativa che, oltre ad aver riscosso un discreto successo, ha dimostrato come l'interesse per il mondo del non profit in Second Life sia in costante crescita. L'obiettivo della mostra d'arte è infatti la raccolta di fondi a beneficio di noWomannoLife e delle donne dell'area del Mediterraneo, di cui la fondazione si occupa.

Un grande ringraziamento va a tutti gli organizzatori ma soprattutto ai visitatori accorsi alla mostra che si sono soffermati per il tour dell'isola nell'ora successiva all'evento! Il futuro riserverà nuovi eventi di questo tipo quindi state all'erta...e buona visita della galleria Art for Life e delle fotografie dell'evento!

Grand opening: SL Art for Life by noWomannoLife

Be ready for the Grand Opening of the art gallery on noWomannoLife Island! 13th December 2007 at 9 pm Central European Time - 12 am Second Life Time. Make your SL home a work of art to the benefit of real life development projects for disadvantaged women! Digital versions of real first class paintings will be exposed and on sale for supporting the projects of noWomannoLife.

The island noWomannoLife/73/180/25/ will provide a suggestive scenery for the event, giving residents the opportunity to see a collection of existing paintings, made by important artists such as Schneider, Ruggeri and Romiti. The art works will be presented during an opening event, that will take place on the 13th December. Residents can buy the paintings in Second Life, and the money collected will be entirely devolved to noWomannoLife.

The art exhibition is organized in collaboration with De Primi Fine Art SA, a Swiss art gallery based in Lugano, which offers several services such as art consulting, art collections estimates, representations at auction worldwide, etc. If you are then interested in the *real* paintings, you can contact them - just saying the words “Second Life”, a percentage of your purchase will be devolved to support noWomannoLife. The event and gallery are managed by seed.

Fashion parade for African children

Tomorrow, Friday 7th December, Anubis Hartunian (famous SL stylist and owner of Anubis Style) will introduce her last collection: casual and elegant suits will be presented during the fashion parade, that will also reveal to the public the new ethnic collection Abana (=children), born to support the association Mabawa. Jewels and shoes worn by models are respectively designed by Chrissy Ambrose, owner of Virtual Impressions, and Hays Uriza, owner of H&U Design.

The event will take place at 23 pm Central European Time (2 pm SL Time) at this location: La cittadella 223/138/26

Domani, venerdi 7 dicembre, Anubis Hartunian (famosa stilista in SL e proprietaria di Anubis Style) introdurrà le sue ultime collezioni: i modelli delle collezioni "casual" ed "elegante" saranno oggetto di un défilé di moda, che rivelerà al pubblico anche la nuova collezione etnica Abana (= bambini), nata per supportare l'associazione Mabawa. I gioielli e le scarpe indossati dalle modelle sono disegnati rispettivamente da Chrissy Ambrose, proprietaria di Virtual Impressions, e da Hays Uriza, proprietaria di H&U Design.
